My story
Hello lady, I’m Kylee!
A little about me:
Growing up with a nutritionist as a mother, food and its function have been ingrained in my brain from a young age. Very thankful for that! My upbringing laid the foundation, but my personal journey towards wellness began back in college when I was quietly and shamefully battling an eating disorder while navigating the demands of nursing school and being a college athlete.
My eating disorder and my work as a registered nurse led me to a deep-dive into research on women’s health. I was able to heal with the Lord’s help and with what I learned about holistic care through my own personal research. However, my relationship with food wasn’t fully restored until I became pregnant, much to my surprise. Not because pregnancy was a cake-walk, QUITE the opposite, but because it was where I truly learned to listen to my body and therefore care for it. Working as an RN opened my eyes to how our western medicine society doesn’t view the body as a whole unit and therefore doesn’t treat the issues from the root cause.
The more I learned, the more I wanted to spread the word on how to properly care for ourselves!
I so empathize with women who are struggling in their bodies, and I have such a passion for coaching women into better health. I believe we ARE fearfully and wonderfully made and we deserve to absolutely THRIVE in our own skin!
So if you’re just not thriving, but you want to be, let’s get this party started!
